10 fall and winter trends 2019/20 from Paris Fashion Week

The French were the most pragmatic and showed collections that easily adapt to our everyday life. We tell you that the most interesting capital city offers us and what accessories will best complement our autumn-winter wardrobe.

The highlight of the past Paris Fashion Week, of course, was the Chanel show with the new creative director Virginie Viar, who had previously acted as the late right hand of the late Karl Lagerfeld (see also: Who is Virginie Viar and why was she entrusted with changing Karl Lagerfeld to Chanel). On the catwalk, the brand presented the latest (and without a doubt the most iconic) collection, developed by a fashion designer who passed away on February 19.

Despite the sad end of the season, the fashionable marathon was easy and without a hitch. The French week turned out to be practical, “wearable” and elegant – the global return of canonical elegance, which finally replaced the hypertrophic hoodies and ugly sneakers, is affecting. There are plenty of directions as always – we share the 10 main trends from the French capital, which are worth paying attention now.

Shades of lava

We will play with fire in the new season in the literal sense of the word. It is in this element – the ideal color combinations for fall and winter 2019. The trendsetter was Dries Van Noten, who showed a shortened fur coat and several fur bags in lava shades. Blood-scarlet, turning into a fiery red and blinding yellow – you must admit that it looks really bewitching.
